For this reason, we recommend that you never overtighten the burr-securing screws, so as to avoid having to use hammers or screwdrivers to remove them at a later date. If these tools are used, they can cause the burr holders to incline, in turn compromising the correct final parallel positions of the burrs. When they are first installed, grind some coffee doses in order to ensure that they are working correctly. We recommend turning the ring nut 2 numbers towards the coarser grind setting, until the flow is regularised (for the Kold and Kold S models, we suggest a one and a half-turn towards the coarser grind setting). Then proceed to find the correct grind size.
